Spanish Press Blast Inter Milan

The Spanish press took some jabs, left hooks, and even a few uppercuts to the “Italian” club, Inter Milan, after losing 2-0 to Barcelona.

Madrid daily Marca: “For such a little Inter there was really no need of Messi or Ibrahimovic.”
La Vanguardia claims: “Guardiola devoured Mourinho.”
AS suggested Inter were “a team with more of a name than a style of football. Insipid, turned off, without ideas, disappointing. Barca laid Inter bare.”

Harsh words. But, we saw the game and have to agree.

Arsene Wenger’s Improving English

We got a good laugh after reading a quote from Arsene Wenger when asked about Theo Walcott’s chances of making Capello’s English squad for this summers World Cup in South Africa…

“For fuck’s sake the World Cup is in June. Is he on holiday until June 11? You cannot be serious.”

Juventus Involved in “All Blacks & White” Project.

Italian giants, Juventus, have teamed up with the New Zealand rugby national team in a charity project called “All Blacks & White”.

From Juventus’ official site: “The Foundation will receive the funds generated from a charity auction on “ebay” which will have as a prize the jerseys of Juventus and the All Blacks autographed by Del Piero and McCaw.
This is the not the only initiative. During the training session held this morning, Ciro Ferrara’s team entered the field wearing technical gear sponsored by Iveco instead of the usual New Holland.
The same will apply to the next match, that on Sunday 22nd November against Udinese. The bianconeri will play on this special and unique occasion sporting a grey jersey sponsored by Iveco. The jersey was presented during today’s meeting.”
